TRA ATHLETICS
mission statement
Our athletic program is an extension of our commitment to excellence in Christian education. As stated in Colossians 3:23, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." Through competition, we aim to develop student-athletes who honor God with their talents and character.
We will be a Christ-centered learning community focused on equipping minds, transforming hearts, and impacting culture.
-
Equipping Minds – Our campus provides personalized learning and the individual care of every student in an immersed biblical worldview
-
Transforming Hearts – Our campus provides an intentional environment of spiritual growth, student activity, and servant leadership, promoting the development of students as Christ-followers
-
Impacting Culture – Our campus unapologetically challenges students to discover God’s calling for their life and to emerge as vehicles to boldly transform the world for Jesus.
core values
Our goal is the development of the student-athlete mentally, academically, spiritually, socially, and physically. (Philippians 1:9-11)
Connecting all aspects of the Athletic program within the framework of biblical ideas and beliefs impacting how students interpret the world and interact with it (Proverbs 3:13)

Learning and practicing servant leadership is essential to worldview and leadership development. Placing the needs of others before self is expected. We encourage Athletes to follow Christ’s example of leadership through servanthood (Hebrews 6:10)

Building, enhancing, and maintaining community are integral to all aspects of school life. We promote strong relationships with each other and all stakeholders through respect and acceptance of one another. We embrace and encourage parent participation and open communication between the school and the home (Ephesians 4:3).
